I'll never be a size zero or even a size 4. Size 6...maybe. Size 8 definitely. Will I get back there...anything is possible...am I ok with that....hell yea!
My goal is to be healthy. That's what I'm working towards. If that eventually gets me to a size 8, hip hip hooray. If I remain this current size, 14 most days, 12 if my body feels up to it occasionally, then I'm good with that too. As long as I'm getting healthier and happier by the day.
I wrote in my blog, "You Gotta Nourish to Flourish," that nobody explains what happens Over 40 and that you have to work 200% harder to correct all you've created. So I've made a commitment to getting healthier. Not losing weight. Losing weight may be the result of my getting healthier, but it won't be my focus.
Until such time I will wear my PHAT like a golden crown. Or like a proud peacock. Whichever. My thing is, not everybody is meant to be thin; everybody's body structure is different. LOVE YOU, exactly how you are.
