Be Still

Sometimes you just need to be still and listen to your inner voice.

And boy did I do that today (sounds like Steve Urke) 🤓.

Have you ever seen or heard something that speaks to your inner being. Well this quote did and I was lead to make an IG post of it. Little did I know that I would have been putting it to practice today. Alllll dayy!!!

For about a day, I have been trying to figure out what I was doing wrong on my blog. Persons were only seeing the two most recent blog posts. I looked at every option. Googled every combination of wording, just in case I missed a significant one. Nothing worked. Not Google, not youtube, not nothing. I left it, went back at it and still nothing, after hours of what felt like sheer punishment.

And so I went to be still and find my inner voice. Now, just so you know, my 'be still' can mean many a things. Today it meant cooking.

Dinner was great by the way😋. Anyway, I digress.

After dinner and relaxing I decided to face the beast again. This time, well fed, relaxed and sleepy 😴. An hour went by and still nothing. And just as I was about to give up and go to bed, there it was, right in front of my eyes, literally😤😟😲. I could not believe it. I was using the wrong page type all along. And to make it worse, well depends on how you look at it, everything was right there on the correct page type/feed because it was set up in the system to work that way. At this point I wasn't sure if I should laugh🤣 or cry😭. So I decided to finish fixing it and go to bed.

Now in bed, I decided that my day wasn't long enough apparently, so why not share this story with my tribe so we can all have a good laugh, myself included.

Lessons learned:

• Don't be too hard on yourself, especially when you are learning something new.

• Know that you will fail many times over before you get it right. And there ain't nothing wrong with that.

• When you are on the brink of giving up, don't. Try one last time. That's when you usually get your breakthrough. I DID 👊

Well, good night folks, sleep well. I am sure there is another hidden drama awaiting me on this blog. But so am I. 😉
